Oregon Draft Horse Breeders’ Association
Oregon Draft Horse Breeders’ Association is a state-wide organization designed to promote the use of Draft Horses and Mules within the State of Oregon and Southwest Washington.
A non-profit group with 55+ active members, we are proud to represent all major breeds of work horses which include, Belgians, Percherons, Suffolks, Shires, Clydesdales, Mules, Haflingers and Fjords.
We use our animals for various activities throughout the year which include farming, logging, carriage and wagon rides, parades, plowing contests and showing our animals at county fairs and state fairs in Oregon, Washington and California. The ODHBA was founded at the Oregon State Fair in 1952.
We meet 3 times annually at various locations throughout the state for meetings. We welcome those who own draft/work animals and/or those who simply have an interest in them.
